Year 6 Athletics

Schools are limited to bringing 1 team.

A team must consist of a minimum of 4 boys and 4 girls but you can bring a maximum of 8 boys and 8 girls.

Please bear in mind this is a competitive event.

The event will be split into 3 groups for the day.

-Small Schools - under 169 pupils

-Medium schools - between 170-219 pupils

-Large Schools over 220 pupils

Small schools are welcome to use year 5 pupils if needed.

-Long Jump (run up)

-Shot Put

-Javelin

Standing Triple Jump

4 Track events

-80m Hurdles

-800m

-200m

-100m

1 Relay

-4x1 Relay

1 pupil per school to take part at each track and field events. (please do not send more than 1 pupil)

NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT!

The intent of this event is to promote success and achievement and to increase regular participation and motivation.
